Who is the Writer? 

Alexander Tran is a 16 year-old high school student currently attending Villa Park High School. At Villa Park, he has served on his Student Government for the past three years. Formerly serving as Freshman Class Vice President, Commissioner of Community Relations, and now Student Board Member. As Student Board Member he represents the students, faculty, and concerned parents of Villa Park High School to the Orange Unified School District. Alex's interest in politics first started as a 12 year-old when he first volunteered for a local legislative campaign. On the campaign, he would interact with constituents and listen to their concerns. Immediately, he felt their was a need to be politically involved. Since then, Alex has volunteered for numerous political candidates in his home Orange County, ranging from city-council to congressional elections. He has also interned for Congresswomen Young Kim's campaign, and Congresswomen Michelle Steel's District and Legislative offices.
